Glow Gathering - FAQ

‘It’s monday, why isn’t there new content’, when can I expect new content from Glow ?

We value quality of quantity here at Glow and really try to spend time curating this content as well as finding contributors that believe in our vision, for this reason we have chosen to only release two new content posts per week. We do see this growing in the future as our capacity grows, however for the meantime expect fresh content from us every Tuesday and Friday.

Are you sponsored by the brands you share about?

Glow is not currently sponsored or financially backed by any of the brands that we choose to share, rather we have chosen to share about these brands because we recognise and believe in their product and ethos.

What does your newsletter include?

At the moment we mostly send out a newsletter on a Saturday morning for a ‘slow read’. The newsletter will summarise the content which was  posted in the week and any other news about things coming up. You can subscribe to our newsletter here.

Why am I not receiving my newsletter?

Please check you spam or junk folder, as it may have been pushed there. If it is not there, then emails from Glow may be blocked. To ensure delivery to your inbox, please add hello@glowgathering.com to your contacts. If it does land in your spam or junk folder, you will need to find it and mark it as “not spam”. If you are a Gmail user, please also check your “promotions” tab.

Is Glow a non-profit organization?

Glow is not a registered non-profit organization. It is a purpose project between Marize Albertyn and Caitlin Smit.

We do however support NGO’s and causes that resonate with our values and vision.

Can I become a Glow contributor?

Glow is all about community and bringing skills and knowledge together from different places and people. If you think you have something valuable to contribute to the platform, we would love to hear from you. Send us an email to hello@glowgathering.com and we will let you know if we think it is a good fit with our vision.

Are your contributors paid for content?

We are currently not paying our contributors but rather hope that Glow serves community and acts as a platform for our contributors to share their voice and grow their audience with regards to their work.

What are Glow Gatherings?

As much as we love our online space - first prize will always be for us to meet face to face and heart to heart with women. Therefore we will be hosting Glow Gatherings in order to serve women in a more personal way. We’ll be announcing our first gathering in 2018.
